Privacy Policy — TRAP: Giant Bugs

Last updated: 22 September 2026

TRAP: Giant Bugs ("the app") is made by JC Just Coders ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your data when you play.

Short version

We collect nothing about you. Your progress is saved on your own device and never leaves it. The app shows ads, and in order to show them Google receives some information about your device — that part is set out below. There are no accounts, no analytics, and nothing to buy.

What the app stores

Your progress — unlocked levels, star ratings, level goals, statistics, cosmetic items and jar contents — is saved only on your own device, using standard local app storage. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and it is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app. The Reset progress option inside the game erases it immediately. We run no servers and hold no copy of it.

Advertising

The app shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. We do not select the ads ourselves, and we do not receive any personal information back from them.

To choose and measure an ad, Google receives:

Google uses this to select ads, measure how they performed, and avoid repeating the same ad too often. Google's own handling of that information is described in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

None of it reaches us. We cannot identify you from it, and we build no profile of you. We do not sell data, because we do not hold any.

Your choices about ads

Permissions

The app requires internet access in order to fetch ads. On Android 13 and later it also declares the advertising ID permission, which is what allows ads to be served. It does not request access to your contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, photos or files.

Analytics

There are none. The figures on the Stats screen are counted on your own device and stay there. We use no analytics or crash-reporting service, and no third-party SDK other than the advertising one described above.

Children

TRAP: Giant Bugs contains no chat, no user-generated content and no in-app purchases. It is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly, before the new version of the app ships.
